SMART Board Regulations in Room 222 (Mrs. Cornish) August 18, 2010

A SMART Board is an interactive whiteboard technology that aids in the distribution of information and learning in the classroom. This is a very expensive piece of equipment (approximately $3000.00) and mistreatment of the technology will not be tolerated. The SMART Board is a fun and motivating way to learn, as long as students follow the regulations, we can learn as 21st century learners. We also have a new piece of technology this year in addition to the SmartBoard, the Smart Response system or ‘clickers’. These clickers enable us to do assessments quickly and efficiently and have fun too! However, these will also need to be taken care of in order to use in class.
