Eagle Ridge Academy will be hosting an open house for all 8th grade students and their families on March 16th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. This is an opportunity for those students/parents who have not yet decided where they will be going to high school next year, to come to the facility and talk with the principal and the counselor and also take a tour of the school.

Pi Day
Pi Day is coming very shortly! March 14th is a huge holiday for mathematicians and scientists around the world. We will be celebrating Pi Day in class on Monday, Match 14th. We are looking for students to bring in pies on Pi Day. (I will provide all paper products.) We will be measuring the diameter and circumference of each pie that is brought to class to see how close we can get to the number pi. I will also tell a few cool facts about pi and some history about this interesting number. Please come join the fun or donate a pie!

Conferences/President's Day/Math Club
Thank you to all the parents that took time out to attend Parent/Teacher Conferences, we really appreciate it!
Remember, there is no school Friday or Monday due to President's Day!
Math Club will take place on Tuesday, February 22nd from 3:45 to 4:45 in room 222, it's going to be a great time, so we hope to see you there!
