Monday, May 9th - The end-of-year Math Placement Assessment was given today during the first four periods. This assessment, along with the Spring MAP score will determine which math class each student will be in next year!

Tuesday, May 3rd - We played SKUNK today in class because we didn't quite get all the ingredients for the play dough, we will make play dough tomorrow if we have everything we need!
Monday, May 2nd - We played Jeopardy in class today and got recipes ready to make play dough, if you volunteered to bring in supplies, be sure to bring them in!
Thursday, April 28th - We began our lesson on ratios, proportion, and percents, we will finish this lesson a week from Monday. The classes will be very small while many of our 7th grade students travel to Washington, DC next week. So, those of us that are left will be doing a very fun project all week long with NO HOMEWORK! :-) We wish everyone that is going on the trip safe and fantastic travels!

Friday, April 22nd - We finished post-assessment corrections today and the pre-assessment on Ratios, Rates, and Writing and Solving Proportions. We will begin our lesson on Ratios and Rates on Monday, so there is no practice over the weekend!
Thursday, April 21st - We took the post-assessment today and some were able to start the pre-assessment for chapter 7, so we will do post-assessment corrections tomorrow and those that need to take the pre-assessment can do that as well.
Wednesday, April 20th - We went over the practice from last night and starting reviewing for the post-assessment on Circumference and Square Roots tomorrow. We will go over any questions before the post-assessment that students have from reviewing that they have attempted. Otherwise, we will begin the assessment immediately tomorrow, so please study!

Tuesday, April 12th - We corrected our Math Mate's which we have just started again. More than half the class was absent or on a band field trip today, so we organized our portfolios, which was much needed!
