8th Grade Graduation Day

7th Grade Picnic

Our 7th grade picnic will be on Tuesday, May 24th! We will be getting together with the 8th grade for the picnic this year because all 7th grade teachers are also 8th grade teachers.We are asking each 7th grade student to bring in $3-$5 and we will be getting everything needed for the picnic. If you have any questions, please let me know. I honestly cannot believe it is this time of year, already!

Welcome Back!!!!

I hope everyone had a fantastic break! The end of the year will be here before we know it! Now is the time to buckle down and finish the year on a high note! Please let me know if you have any questions about anything. I am available every day during recess and every day after school for extra help when needed!

Eagle Ridge Academy Open House

Eagle Ridge Academy will be hosting an open house for all 8th grade students and their families on March 16th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m.  This is an opportunity for those students/parents who have not yet decided where they will be going to high school next year, to come to the facility and talk with the principal and the counselor and also take a tour of the school.  

Pi Day

Pi Day is coming very shortly! March 14th is a huge holiday for mathematicians and scientists around the world. We will be celebrating Pi Day in class on Monday, Match 14th. We are looking for students to bring in pies on Pi Day. (I will provide all paper products.) We will be measuring the diameter and circumference of each pie that is brought to class to see how close we can get to the number pi. I will also tell a few cool facts about pi and some history about this interesting number. Please come join the fun or donate a pie!

Conferences/President's Day/Math Club

Thank you to all the parents that took time out to attend Parent/Teacher Conferences, we really appreciate it! 

Remember, there is no school Friday or Monday due to President's Day! 

Math Club will take place on Tuesday, February 22nd from 3:45 to 4:45 in room 222, it's going to be a great time, so we hope to see you there!
